Certified Float Medical Assistant

The Medical Assistant Float provides high-quality clinical and administrative support to a variety of surgical specialties including general surgery, vascular & endovascular surgery, plastic surgery, vein care, podiatry, and surgical oncology. This role requires flexibility to travel between multiple clinic locations based on staffing needs. The MA Float ensures efficient patient flow, accurate documentation, and supports providers in delivering excellent patient care across diverse clinical environments.

Provides patient education and instructions as directed by the provider, tailored to each specialty’s needs.  Performs administrative duties such as answering phones, managing messages, and processing paperwork related to patient care.  Performs other duties as assigned.
** QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
** Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting; multi-specialty experience preferred. Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills. Ability to work independently and adapt to changing environments.  Proficiency in EMR systems and basic computer skills.
** PHYSICIAL REQUIREMENTS:
** Ability to stand for extended periods of time during treatments.
