Job SummaryState-of-the-art lab with WINDOWS. Performs routine and complex clinical pathology testing and manages laboratory instruments. Records results accurately and delivers them on time. Has authority, responsibility, and accountability for accurate test performance. These tests diagnose and treat patients and evaluate treatment response. Applies clinical knowledge to achieve accurate results and quality patient care outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provides patient-focused care through accurate performance of routine and complex tests across the pre-analytic, analytic, and post-analytic stages.
- Performs qualitative and quantitative analytical procedures, including reagent preparation and appropriate quality control, according to required protocols with precision and efficiency.
- Demonstrates knowledge of techniques, principles, instruments, and their interrelationships as well as physiological conditions affecting test results.
- Additional duties may be assigned.
- Data Analysis (Novice):
Proficient in moderate data analysis tasks, database navigation, query modification, and report generation. - Quality Assurance (Novice):
Evaluates assignment processes, seeks improvement, and participates in quality standard communication. - Equipment Maintenance (Novice):
Maintains equipment, ensures sufficient parts inventory. - Diagnostic Testing (Novice):
Proficient in diagnostic testing with sufficient knowledge and training. - Mentoring & Coaching (Novice):
Trains and mentors others, provides constructive feedback, removes roadblocks, and shares knowledge.
