Job SummaryUnder medical supervision, the Physical Therapist is responsible for delivering services that restore function, improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities for patients with injuries or disease.

Vanderbilt Wilson County Hospital is hiring a PRN Physical Therapist to support inpatient acute care services on the Lebanon, TN campus. This role offers flexible weekday and weekend shifts, exposure to diverse patient populations, and a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.
Schedule:
- Weekday Shifts (2-3 days/week)
- Weekend Shifts (at least 2 weekend days per month)
- Perform evidence-based physical therapy evaluations and treatments for a wide range of conditions.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and rehab professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Document patient progress and outcomes using electronic medical records (EMR).
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and recovery strategies.
- Flex between acute care and outpatient orthopedic/sports/general rehab settings as needed.
- Licensed Physical Therapist in Tennessee (or eligible for licensure).
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
- CPR/BLS certification required.
- Experience in inpatient acute care and/or outpatient rehab preferred.
- Strong communication, time management, and clinical reasoning skills.

Licensure as Physical Therapist (Tennessee). - Work Experience:
Relevant work experience required; experience level may vary (examples indicate less than 1 year). - Education:
Bachelor’s degree (as applicable by program requirements).
