Job Summary and QualificationsHCA Healthcare’s Digital Transformation & Innovation (DT&I) Organization is responsible for the development and implementation of the company’s Clinical Informatics strategy. The Clinical Informatics Regulatory Strategy team is responsible for managing the organization’s exposure to changes in public policy as they relate to the company’s Clinical Informatics strategy, as well as health IT more broadly. The mission of the Clinical Informatics Regulatory Strategy team is to serve the company’s healthcare providers and health IT developers by reducing the burden and cost of compliance.
We seek to accomplish this mission by advocating for balanced health IT policy, developing and implementing operationally efficient compliance strategies, and leveraging existing company investments whenever possible.
The Clinical Informatics Regulatory Strategy Analyst II will assist the team in staying abreast of legislative and regulatory activities that have the potential to impact the company’s Clinical Informatics strategy. This individual assists in the development and vetting of regulatory interpretations with an emphasis on practical application. In conjunction with other team members, this individual is responsible for maintaining compliance strategies and programs that must be established in response to ever‑changing regulatory requirements.
This individual also assists with the documentation, escalation, and resolution of potential compliance issues in collaboration with DT&I leadership. This position requires teamwork, attention to detail, and problem‑solving to execute on the company’s Clinical Informatics regulatory strategy.
