** JOB SUMMARY  This position will complete pediatric outpatient video-fluoroscopic swallow studies (VFSS) two days a week and outpatient pediatric feeding/swallow therapy three days a week.
Evaluates and treats patients with speech, language, voice, cognition, fluency, auditory (re) habilitation, and swallowing/oral feeding disorders. Educates and counsels patients and families. Provides independent therapeutic services and identify area(s) of clinical specialization and competency. Supervises graduate students as assigned in clinical specialty area. Participates actively in identifying and conducting quality improvement activities. Collaborates with clinical practice team to achieve patient outcomes and system objectives..

Full-Time | Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
** Position Summary
** Vanderbilt Health is seeking a dedicated and experienced Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our nationally ranked rehabilitation team at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital. This full-time role offers the opportunity to provide specialized care to children with complex speech, language, and swallowing disorders in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
** Key Responsibilities
*** Evaluate and treat pediatric patients with speech-language, feeding/swallowing, and cognitive-communication disorders in an outpatient setting (3 days/week)
* Conduct Video-Fluoroscopic Swallow Studies (VFSS) in both outpatient and inpatient settings (2 days/week)
* Provide therapy for children with complex medical conditions including dysphagia, tracheostomy, cleft palate, craniofacial disorders, and traumatic brain injury
* Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and physical therapists to deliver comprehensive care
* Educate families and caregivers on therapy strategies, progress, and home programs
* Document patient outcomes and support discharge planning using My Health at Vanderbilt/My Chart
** Qualifications
* ** Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
* Active or eligible Tennessee SLP License
* ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
* Experience in pediatric feeding and swallowing therapy
