Position Description
Full-time, Non-Civil Service position with Metropolitan Action Commission. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and other benefits. The position is under the direct supervision of the Facilities Manager and involves duties as instructed to ensure the cleanliness of all Metropolitan Action Commission property, both indoor and outdoor.
Work Hours

Monday – Friday (10:00 A.M. – 6:30 P.M.)
Background Check

- Assist in all cleaning functions.
- Attend meetings and complete required training.
- Demonstrate positive and professional work habits.
- Assist with other position‑related duties as requested by the supervisor.
• Minimum of an eighth‑grade education and one (1) year of experience in custodial work.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Candidates with accreditations earned in a foreign institute are encouraged to apply.

All employees of the Metropolitan Government shall be residents of the State of Tennessee or become residents of the state within six (6) months of employment.
- Knowledge of custodial methods, materials, and tools.
- Must be able to lift 75 pounds.
