Head of Trading

• Lead the entire operational trading program, including execution, portfolio implementation, and ongoing management.
• Architect trading systems across custodians, counter parties, banking partners, and internal systems.
• Set execution standards for cost efficiency, liquidity management, and capital optimization.
• Oversee client lifecycle trading components from onboarding to position management.
• Develop a seamless client experience with transparent execution and performance reporting.
• Define the long-term strategy for trading and rebalancing infrastructure.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Finance, and Product teams on the trading roadmap and automation initiatives.
• Evaluate and implement portfolio and order management systems as needed.
• Establish risk management frameworks and controls for data integrity and trade validation.
• Act as a senior escalation point for trading issues and systemic risks.
• Build cross-functional partnerships within Capital Markets, Finance, Legal, Compliance, and Technology.
• Advise executive leadership on trading-related decisions impacting business scale.
• Develop trading team capacity models, performance metrics, and foster a culture of precision and disciplined risk management.

• 10+ years in trading, portfolio implementation, or investment operations.
• Experience with multi-custodian or multi-counter party trading programs in high-growth settings.
• Deep understanding of ETF trading mechanics and portfolio construction.
• Strong capital markets, liquidity management, and operational risk knowledge.
• Proficient in Excel and comfortable working with complex datasets.
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Preferred: FINRA registrations (Series 7, 66, or 24), fintech collaboration experience, and a proven record in scaling trading infrastructure.
