SHR Talent is partnering with a rapidly growing healthcare organization headquartered in Nashville, TN, in their search for a Corporate Accounting & Analysis Manager to join their expanding finance team. The Corporate Accounting & Analysis Manager is a highly visible role within a mission-driven company that’s transforming care delivery through innovation, data, and operational excellence.
As the Corporate Accounting & Analysis Manager, you will oversee core accounting operations, monthly close activities, and financial reporting while leading analytical reviews across multiple business units. The Corporate Accounting & Analysis Manager also serves as a vital link between Corporate Accounting and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), ensuring financial integrity, supporting audits, and driving initiatives that improve visibility and efficiency across the organization.
The ideal candidate for the Corporate Accounting & Analysis Manager opportunity will be a strategic, detail-oriented accounting and finance professional who combines strong technical accounting skills with the ability to interpret and analyze financial data. The Corporate Accounting & Analysis Manager will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy of corporate financials while delivering insights that support executive decision-making and business growth.
Responsibilities- Manage the month-end close process and ensure timely, accurate preparation of financial statements
- Conduct variance analysis and provide performance insights to senior leadership
- Partner with Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to integrate accounting results into forecasting, budgeting, and strategic analysis
- Review journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting documentation for accuracy and compliance
- Ensure adherence to US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and internal control standards
- Oversee and mentor accounting team members, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement
- Drive process optimization and system enhancements to strengthen financial reporting
- Support external audit coordination and deliver requested schedules and documentation
- Build and maintain reporting tools and dashboards to improve visibility into operating performance
- Participate in ad hoc projects, including acquisitions integration, capital reporting, and operational initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- MBA Certified Public Accountant license (CPA), preferred
- 6 – 8 years of progressive experience in corporate accounting and financial analysis, preferably within healthcare, multi-site, or services industries
- Strong technical knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), accounting systems, and internal controls
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems such as Workday, Net Suite, or SAP, and BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau, preferred
- Demonstrated ability to interpret data, identify trends, and communicate actionable insights
