Role Overview

Safe Space Global Corporation is seeking a hands-on, capital-markets-experienced Chief Financial Officer to serve a dual mandate:

1. Public Company CFO — responsible for SEC-adjacent compliance, audited financials, OTC reporting discipline, investor readiness, and guiding the company through a structured uplist from Pink Sheets to a national exchange (NYSE or NYSE-American).

2. Operating CFO — responsible for day-to-day financial operations, budgeting, cash management, forecasting, vendor oversight, and operational financial discipline for a rapidly scaling AI technology company operating across multiple regulated verticals.

This is a builder role, not a maintenance role. The CFO will help architect the financial backbone of the company as it moves from pre-revenue to material revenue scale.

Key Responsibilities
  • Public Company & Capital Markets Leadership
    • Own all financial reporting, controls, and audit readiness for a fully audited OTC / Pink Sheet public company
    • Lead preparation for exchange uplisting (NYSE or NYSE-American), including:
    • Financial governance frameworks
    • Exchange-level financial disclosures and standards
    • Serve as primary financial liaison with:
    • OTC Markets and exchange representatives
    • Support investor relations and capital strategy in coordination with the CEO and President
    • Ensure strict compliance with SEC, FINRA, and OTC disclosure expectations
  • Operating & Corporate Finance Leadership
    • Build and manage company-wide operating budgets across all business units
    • Implement financial planning & analysis (FP&A) discipline, including:
    • Cost-of-goods and margin analysis
    • Oversee treasury functions, cash controls, and capital allocation
    • Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and cost structures
    • Support pricing strategy, contract economics, and deal structuring
    • Build scalable financial systems to support rapid growth
  • Vertical & Industry Support (Preferred Experience)
    • Education (K-12) – public funding cycles, compliance, long sales cycles
    • Healthcare & Senior Living – regulated environments, multi-facility deployments
    • Transportation (Bus Systems & Fleets) – municipal contracts, asset-heavy models
    • Correctional Facilities – government procurement, security-focused technology
  • Leadership & Team Development
    • Build and lead the internal finance, accounting, and administrative teams
    • Establish financial policies, procedures, and reporting cadence
    • Partner closely with operations, sales, and technology leadership
    • Serve as a strategic advisor to the executive leadership team and board
  • Required Qualifications
    • 15+ years of progressive finance leadership experience
    • Prior experience as CFO or senior finance executive for a publicly traded company
    • Direct experience with:
    • Fully audited Pink Sheet / OTC companies
    • Exchange uplist preparation and execution
    • Strong operational CFO background in a technology or SaaS-adjacent business
    • Deep understanding of public company governance, reporting, and controls
    • Ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a fast-moving environment
    • Willingness to live in Nashville, TN and work primarily from the company office
    Compensation Structure
    • $175,000 – $225,000 annually
    • Equity / Long-Term Incentives
    • 1.5% – 3.5% equity (mix of restricted stock + performance-based vesting)
    • Vesting tied to:
    • Uplist milestone achievement
    • Market cap growth thresholds
    Performance Incentives
    • Annual performance bonus potential (cash or equity):
    • 20% – 40% of base salary
    • Bonuses tied to:
    • Financial discipline and budget performance
    Benefits & Structure
    • Executive-level benefits package
    • Long-term leadership role with opportunity to scale into a top-tier public company CFO position as SSGC grows
    Why This Role Matters

This CFO will not be stepping into a finished system — they will help build it.

You will sit at the intersection of:

    • Public markets credibility

If you are energized by building something meaningful, scaling responsibly, and helping take a mission-driven AI company to the next level of the public markets — this role was designed for you.
