We are seeking a Nashville based Private Wealth Performance Analyst to join our Private Wealth Performance team in Global Technology & Operations. The candidate will report to a senior performance analyst and will provide support to the AB Private Client Sales force with respect to all aspects of investment performance measurement. AB uses a vendor’s performance measurement system to calculate gross and net‑of‑fee returns for more than 225,000 active accounts.
These portfolios include equity, fixed income, and alternative products. The role involves analyzing and explaining portfolio performance results in a comprehensive and understandable manner that can easily be conveyed to associates and our sales teams.
- Ensure that investment performance results for client portfolios are calculated and reported accurately.
- Collaborate with Private Client Sales on new product launches.
- Manage calculation and distribution of daily/monthly performance summary firm‑wide for marketed composites and simulations.
- Partner with offshore team and learn all performance measurement functions.
- Enhance all aspects of performance measurement including
- Create daily, monthly, and custom performance reports.
- Work with PW Operations teams to research and resolve any issues/out of balances.
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing with respect to reporting requirements and changes.
- Client Servicing – Provide ongoing support to Sales Advisors, Marketing, Portfolio Management, Client Reporting, and other internal departments.
- The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of work experience in a related field.
- Performance measurement experience is preferred but not required.
- Solid mathematical skills, knowledge of time‑weighted and dollar‑weighted rates of return, calculation methodologies, and GIPS are a plus.
- The candidate must be responsible, highly organized, detail oriented and efficient.
- Strong interpersonal skills and clear communication skills, both written and oral, are required.
- The candidate should also have problem solving and analytical skills and the ability to work in a fast‑paced, deadline‑oriented environment.
- A strong ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage various projects or tasks at once is also required.
- The ideal candidate should be able to independently research and resolve issues.
- The candidate should demonstrate proficiency in generating Excel spreadsheets and documents in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
