Summary:
Relationship Banker or Senior Relationship Banker responsible for providing client service, offering financial solutions, developing new and existing client relationships, and supporting cross‑functional opportunities within Truist Retail Community Bank.
- Exercise advanced proficiency with routine client maintenance, problem resolution and advanced sales functions for deposit, credit, convenience and other product lines.
- Contribute to meeting or exceeding client service as well as branch sales targets by offering products and services while developing, expanding and retaining relationships.
- Support team sales process through consultative conversations and refer complex client needs to internal specialists.
- Participate fully in all components of the established Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership Routines.
- Advance individual knowledge of sales techniques and product knowledge by attending meetings, training classes and web‑based learning.
- Advise clients on consumer lending options and take loan applications.
- Adhere to internal controls, operational procedures and risk management policies, staying informed of policy changes.
- Ensure a consistent client service experience through courteous interactions and assistance with teller transactions.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of client sales and service experience.
- Experience with sourcing and prospecting for new clients and client relationship building.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; desire to interact with clients and prospects.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office.
- Must be SAFE (Mortgage Licensing Act) compliant within 30 days of employment, including NMLS background check.
- Ability to multi‑task under time constraints.
- Willingness to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs.
- Availability to work weekends/sudden travel and overnights as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree or higher.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities under time constraints.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional service quality attitude.
- Experience selling deposit, credit, and retirement products to consumer and small business clients.
- Demonstrated ability in meeting or exceeding sales goals.
- General understanding of bank operations, policies and procedures.
