SHR Talent is partnering with a client in Nashville, TN in its search for a Contracts Administrator to support and strengthen its contracts administration function. The Contracts Administrator will play a role in reviewing, managing, and standardizing construction contracts tied to project billing and compliance requirements. The Contracts Administrator should be detail‑oriented with a process‑driven mindset with an interest in building scalable systems, and comfortable working in a highly visible role with executive leadership.

The Contracts Administrator is a fully remote role with a preference for candidates located in Tennessee, Georgia, or Florida and has strong visibility to executive leadership, including direct interaction with the Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The Contracts Administrator role offers a unique opportunity to help build scalable policies, procedures, and best practices across the contracts administration process.

Responsibilities
  • Review, interpret, and administer construction contracts with a strong focus on payment‑related clauses
  • Ensure contractual requirements are met to trigger proper and timely project billing and collections
  • Assist in the creation, documentation, and standardization of contracts administration policies and operating procedures
  • Partner closely with the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and cross‑functional teams to align contract compliance with financial outcomes
  • Identify risks, inconsistencies, or gaps within contract language and proactively recommend solutions
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to contract lifecycle management and internal controls
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in contracts administration within the construction industry
  • Strong working knowledge of construction contracts, including payment terms, conditional clauses, and compliance requirements
  • Ability to independently review, interpret, and manage complex contract language
