Job Summary
The Vice President, Finance is responsible for providing broad financial leadership for the Consumer Skincare finance organization while partnering with the line of business leadership team to drive performance and set the strategic direction for the business. This individual will partner closely with others throughout the organization in a matrixed environment as well as key external stakeholders. The individual is responsible for overseeing business unit budgeting and forecasting, business analytics, and relevant financial policy matters for the business.
The individual will need to be a self-starter in a very dynamic environment with the ability to look for opportunities to continuously improve current processes and scale business operations to support organizational growth.

- Collaborate with the Finance and Business Unit leadership teams to analyze, report on and drive results for the Consumer Skincare business.
- Lead, mentor and provide hands-on management to the Consumer Skincare Finance team to ensure high performance.
- Take a leadership role in continuous improvement efforts, identifying and implementing opportunities in business processes, reporting, planning, and operational and financial controls.
- Function as a strategic business partner to drive profitable growth.
- Lead the development of the annual operating plan and forecast updates, and provide thought leadership and vision in the development of business intelligence and financial planning tools and processes.
- Drive improvement in business partnering capabilities for improved business decision support and insightful financial analyses.
- Oversee the development of the company’s Long-Range plan and ensure the plan incorporates the financial impacts of the company’s strategic initiatives.
- Direct capital structure and liquidity planning and analysis to support operating plans, strategic plans and growth initiatives within acceptable risk parameters and establish the optimal mix and form of debt and equity capital to finance company operations.
- Collaborate with other functions and lead the financial aspects of negotiating and managing contracts with service providers, including outsourcing clinical activities.
- Oversee best-in-class systems and processes allowing the finance function to scale with business growth.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance (or equivalent)
- MBA or CPA
- A minimum of 15 years of related experience, including experience in a senior financial role at a $300M+ revenue line of business.
- Advanced understanding of U.S. GAAP, cost accounting practices, financial planning, and managing accounting and financial planning tools and processes.
- Familiarity with the consumer skincare industry.
- Exceptional communication/partnering skills and the ability to interact professionally and effectively with a diverse group of stakeholders.
- Leader who can inspire the business unit team and other stakeholders to collaborate and coordinate to achieve superior business outcomes.
- Strong analytical skills with an ability to collaborate functionally with all corporate and business unit teams and communicate vision in clear and persuasive terms.
