Judson Group is proud to partner with a highly respected, growth-oriented Registered Investment Advisor in the search for a Lead Advisor
. This is an opportunity to step into a visible, influential role where your expertise, relationships, and leadership will help shape the future of a well-established firm and the lives of the clients it serves.

As a Lead Advisor, you’ll be at the heart of the client experience—guiding individuals, families, and business owners toward clarity, confidence, and long-term financial success. You’ll serve as the primary advisor for sophisticated client relationships while playing a meaningful role in business development and firm growth. You’ll manage complex planning, investment, and wealth transfer strategies for ultra-high-net-worth and multi-generational families while delivering a consistently exceptional client experience.

This role is ideal for an experienced, relationship-driven advisor who thrives on thoughtful planning, fiduciary responsibility, and building lasting partnerships. You’ll work within a collaborative RIA that values integrity, accountability, and care—both for clients and for one another.

Why You’ll Love This Role:
  • You’ll work closely with accomplished professionals, entrepreneurs, executives, and families, helping them navigate life’s most important financial decisions with confidence.
  • This firm combines the personal feel of a boutique advisory practice with the resources, infrastructure, and momentum of a growing enterprise—giving you room to build, lead, and innovate.
  • You’ll join a team that prioritizes purpose, collaboration, and doing what’s right for clients—always.
  • Advisors are empowered to build their practices in a supportive environment that values balance, professional development, and long-term success.
What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Serve as the lead advisor through proactive communication, personalized planning, and strategic investment guidance.
  • Drive new business development by cultivating relationships through referrals, networking, and meaningful community engagement.
  • Deliver customized financial strategies that help clients define, pursue, and protect their personal and financial goals.
  • Develop and execute business and marketing plans aligned with firm growth and personal development objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with CPAs, attorneys, and insurance professionals to implement advanced planning and wealth transfer strategies.
  • Conduct comprehensive financial and portfolio reviews to ensure recommendations remain aligned with each client’s evolving life circumstances.
  • Model the professionalism, accountability, and care expected of a senior leader within the firm.
  • Stay current on regulations, investment solutions, and planning strategies to provide forward-looking insights to clients and colleagues.
  • Participate in committees and strategic initiatives that enhance the firm’s client experience, planning philosophy, and investment approach.
What We’re Looking For:
  • 5–10+ years of client-facing experience with demonstrated success in managing and growing relationships, ideally within an RIA environment.
  • CFP certification required (or to be obtained within two years of start date).
  • Series 65 (or equivalent) required.
  • Life & Health insurance license required (or ability to obtain within 90 days).
  • Proven leadership and mentorship experience with the ability to inspire and develop others.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, self-directed approach to business growth.
  • Advanced knowledge of financial planning, investment management, and wealth transfer strategies; experience with UHNW and multi-generational families strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and leadership skills.
  • Technical proficiency with custodians such as SEI and Fidelity; CRM systems like Redtail; and portfolio/planning software including Orion, Right Capital, Money Guide Pro , Wealthscape, and Microsoft Office.
  • Very competitive base salary and bonus structure
