Vice President of Finance
Location: Remote (with periodic travel to Nashville, TN)
Compensation: $179,000–$240,000 base + bonus potential
Reports To: Chief Financial Officer
OverviewA rapidly scaling, private equity-backed healthcare services organization is seeking a Vice President of Finance to serve as a strategic partner to the CFO and executive leadership team. This role will lead financial planning, forecasting, and strategic analysis as the business continues to expand nationally and scale beyond $100M in revenue.
The VP of Finance will own the forward-looking financial narrative of the business and play a critical role in capital planning, growth initiatives, and executive decision-making. This is a high-impact role for a finance leader who is comfortable operating at both a strategic and hands-on level.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the company’s FP&A function, including annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range financial planning
- Build and maintain detailed financial models supporting growth initiatives, market expansion, pricing strategy, and capital allocation
- Partner closely with the CFO and executive leadership on strategic planning, investment decisions, and performance management
- Develop executive-level dashboards and KPIs to provide clear visibility into financial and operational performance
- Support board and investor reporting, including preparation of financial materials and analysis
- Drive deep understanding of unit economics, margin performance, and profitability across markets and service lines
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, revenue cycle, and accounting to ensure alignment between financial performance, cash flow, and reporting
- Help scale finance systems, processes, and team capabilities to support continued growth
- 10+ years of progressive finance experience with significant FP&A leadership exposure
- Experience in high-growth, multi-site, services-based organizations preferred
- Proven ability to support executive teams, boards, and investors with clear financial insights and recommendations
- Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and scenario analysis skills
- Experience building or scaling FP&A functions
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable business insights
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required
- MBA and/or CPA, CFA strongly preferred
- Direct partnership with the CFO and executive leadership team
- Meaningful exposure to strategic decision-making, capital planning, and growth initiatives
