Assistant Director of Finance – Omni Hotels & Resorts
Join us as our Assistant Director of Finance, a key member of the Finance team at the Omni Nashville Hotel. You will support the Director in daily operations of the Finance department, oversee site accounting activities, and contribute to the hotel’s financial success.

Job DescriptionThe Assistant Director of Finance will supervise and review all site accounting activities, including account reconciliation, accounts payable/receivable, billing, credit, collections, and systems controls.
Responsibilities- Train staff for Accounts Receivable Clerk, Accounts Receivable Billing Clerk, Accounts Payable Clerk, and General Cashier positions.
- Coordinate on-site accounting functions with the Director of Finance and serve as liaison for corporate accounting requests.
- Provide monthly AR status reports to the Director, EOC, and Corporate Accounting Team.
- Manage Accounts Receivable to minimize credit risk and maintain adequate cash flow.
- Ensure accurate and efficient Accounts Payable processing.
- Assist in achieving financial goals and timely month‑end close.
- Bill direct accounts promptly with complete backup and accurate invoices.
- Maintain daily filing required for research requests from guests and in‑house users.
- Review and authorize rebates, credits, and rebilling for direct bills, credit cards, and cash accounts.
- Resolve guest disputes and requests for clarification in a timely manner.
- Track rebates/adjustments effectively.
- Collaborate with departments to resolve system and control issues.
- Maintain daily AR balances in the Daily Business Summary for compliance.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state wage and hour requirements.
- Complete general ledger and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare balance‑sheet analyses and accurate financial statements.
- Manage daily cash functions, bank dial‑ups, positive pay, reconciliations, and funding requests.
- Minimum 2 years of management experience in Accounting and/or Finance.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce error‑free work.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Experience in Hotel Finance strongly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Familiarity with Oracle, Kronos, and other database systems preferred.
- Availability to work some evenings and weekends.
