OverviewWe are seeking a motivated Senior Tax Accountant to join a large multinational organization and play a key role in corporate tax compliance, provision, and planning. This position offers the opportunity to work on complex tax matters for both domestic and international operations, while gaining exposure to high-level projects that support strategic business decisions.
What You’ll Do- Assist with U.S. and international income tax compliance, research, audits, and planning initiatives
- Prepare and review quarterly income tax provisions under ASC 740
- Support documentation of transfer pricing policies and related compliance requirements
- Prepare and/or review tax account reconciliations and fixed asset depreciation schedules
- Research federal, state, and international tax statutes to identify credits, incentives, and planning opportunities
- Contribute to tax planning for mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures
- Partner with leadership on special projects and process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reporting quality
- Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of relevant experience preferred
- Solid understanding of GAAP, 1120 Returns, ASC 740, and corporate income tax regulations
- Experience with tax compliance, provision, general ledger activity, and fixed assets
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex tax issues
- CPA certification and/or Master’s in Taxation
- Hands-on experience with One Source Income and Provision, Alteryx, or Oracle ERP
- Familiarity with tax research platforms (Bloomberg, CCH, Checkpoint)
- Exposure to both domestic and international operations within a large, global manufacturing company
- A balance of compliance and strategic planning responsibilities, including involvement in M&A tax initiatives
