KPMG is currently seeking a Manager/Senior Manager - Tax, Integrated Partnership Solutions to join our Business Tax Services practice.
Responsibilities- Provide tax compliance and consulting services to partnerships for clients ranging from Fortune 100 companies to mid-market businesses.
- Consult on transaction calculations, partner economics, tax distributions, and other events throughout the partnership lifecycle.
- Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team focused on high-quality partnership consulting and reporting, including technology design and industry knowledge.
- Lead, counsel and train teams of tax professionals on process and tax technical matters; manage a portfolio of clients and serve as the point of contact for internal and external clients.
- Oversee risk and performance of engagements, including project budgets, resource planning, status updates, and financial metrics.
- Keep up to date on current tax practices, new technologies and tools used in client service delivery; participate in technology or process development initiatives and contribute to external market and business activities.
- Minimum five years of recent experience in an accounting firm focused on partnership federal and state tax compliance.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university.
- Licensed CPA, Enrolled Agent, or Juris Doctor (J.D.)/Master of Laws (LL.M.) with other qualifications listed by KPMG. If not possessed at hire, an eligible designation must be obtained within one year.
- Demonstrated quality service mindset, strong technical aptitude and critical thinking; experience with MS Office and third-party tax software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to articulate complex information.
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.
- Minimum eight years of recent experience in an accounting firm focused on partnership federal and state tax compliance.
