The Director of Programming & Entertainment will lead all aspects of live entertainment and activation programming for Dolly Parton’sSong Teller Hotel featuring
245rooms,twoF&BEntertainmentvenues, amarket,and Dolly Parton’s Museum.

From booking exceptional talent and producing world-class performances to crafting thoughtful activations that surprise and delight guestsand visitors alike.

This role defines the hotel’s entertainment voice, curating programming that honors Dolly Parton’s legacy of storytelling, inclusivity, and heart while embracing fresh ideas and emerging talent. Working hand-in-handwith production, marketing, food & beverage, and guest experience teams, this leader ensures each performance is beautifully executed, financially sound, and seamlessly woven into the guest journey.

• Leadand direct the development,strategy, and execution of all live entertainment and experiential programming for Dolly Parton’sSong Teller Hotel .
• Serve as the primary talent buyer for the hotel’s entertainment venue, overseeing artist selection, booking, contracting, and negotiations.
• Curate and manage a year-round calendar of ticketed and non-ticketed performances that align with brand, audience, and financial goals.
• Oversee full show lifecycle management, including advancing, production coordination, technical and hospitality rider fulfillment, and artist settlement.
• Book and manage entertainment for multiple venues and activation spaces across the property, including lounges, restaurants, outdoor areas, and special events.
• Develop and execute property-wide activations and immersive experiences in collaboration with marketing, food & beverage and guest experience teams.
• Manage entertainment and programming budgets, forecasts, and financial performance, ensuring fiscal responsibility and profitability.
• Establish andmaintainstandard operating procedures for booking, production, and artist relations in a professional performance venue environment.
• Lead, mentor, and supervise programming, entertainment, and production staff and external partners.
• Act as the primary liaison with artists, agents, managers, promoters, and internal stakeholders.
• Uphold and steward theSong Teller Hotel  brand, ensuring all programming reflects Dolly Parton’sSong Teller Hotel ’svalues, storytelling, and quality standards.
