About Hit Parader Live:
Hit Parader Live is a new supper-club-style venue located in the heart of Nashville — where rock & roll attitude meets elevated hospitality. Inspired by the iconic Hit Parader Magazine and the legacy of music’s golden eras, our venue will host live performances, celebrity after-parties, private events, and unforgettable nights of food, drinks, and music.
We’re seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead our team through opening and beyond — blending operational precision with creative flair. This role requires a leader who thrives at the intersection of hospitality, entertainment, and culture.
Position OverviewThe General Manager will oversee all aspects of daily operations for Hit Parader Live, ensuring seamless service, financial health, and an exceptional guest experience. This role is both operational and cultural — you’ll lead by example, build systems for excellence, and cultivate an atmosphere that celebrates creativity, inclusivity, and the music that drives Nashville.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee daily venue operations, including service standards, guest relations, and team management.
- Manage and train front- and back-of-house staff to ensure consistency, excellence, and brand alignment.
- Partner with ownership, culinary, and creative directors to align operations with the broader vision.
- Implement and monitor financial performance metrics including P&L, labor targets, COGS, and event profitability.
- Manage all reservation and event systems (including Triple Seat) for both public and private programming.
- Collaborate with marketing and booking teams on programming, event scheduling, and brand partnerships.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and liquor regulations.
- Serve as the “face” of the venue — building relationships with artists, guests, and VIP clientele.
- Drive culture, accountability, and growth within the team through mentorship and leadership.
- 5+ years of progressive management experience in high-volume restaurants, or nightlife, live music venues.
- Deep understanding of both hospitality and entertainment operations.
- Strong leadership presence with a hands‑on, guest‑focused approach.
- Proven success managing budgets, labor, and P&L.
- Familiarity with Nashville nightlife and music culture a plus.
- Tech‑savvy with experience in POS, scheduling, and event platforms (Toast, 7
Shifts, Triple Seat, etc.). - Thrives under pressure, maintains composure, and inspires those around them.
