SSR is seeking a Construction Engineering & Inspection (CE&I) Intern to support our field and office teams during the summer. This internship is ideal for students interested in gaining real‑world construction experience, learning about quality assurance practices, and observing how engineering design comes to life in the field.

• Gain real‑world experience on exciting transportation construction projects
• Apply standard construction and inspection techniques and procedures
• Perform assignments under the direct supervision of a CEI professional or Construction Manager
• Perform other duties as needed

• Currently pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Completion of sophomore year or higher by the internship start date.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to work outdoors on active construction sites in varying weather conditions.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.

• First‑hand experience with construction administration and quality control processes.
• Mentorship from licensed engineers and certified construction inspectors.
• Insight into public infrastructure delivery from design through closeout.
• Opportunity to build your resume with meaningful project experience and field exposure.
