Quality Coordinator

We are looking for a Quality Coordinator for our Murfreesboro, TN facility
. In this role you will be responsible for maintaining a positive customer relationship and experience for the outputs of the coating process and maintaining the Quality Management System. You are the voice of the customer to the Coating Center.

• Maintain QMS under ISO 9001 standard within the plant.
• Provide product quality analysis via various testing methodologies. Support material review and disposition of non‑conforming products.
• Drive corrective and preventive actions using KPI inputs with a focus on effective root‑cause analysis to avoid recurrence.
• Support quality planning for new process/customers.
• Manage Quality System documentation, gauge inventory, audits, reporting of quality system status/key process indicators.
• Train production personnel in quality system requirements, processes, and procedures as required.
• Daily customer interaction regarding order expedites or changes as needed.
• Proactive notification on cases of delayed deliveries.
• Effective problem solving with the center.
• Coordination of activities with personnel outside the center with the Oerlikon locations/entities.
• Other duties as may be assigned or required.

• Technical Degree in Quality, Manufacturing, or a related discipline or equivalent experience.
• Background in Material Science with basic understanding of composition.
• Professional certification (ASQ or similar) in relevant quality disciplines.
• Well‑versed in ISO 9001:2015 QMS requirements.
• Experience in LEAN strategies to support and drive continuous improvement.
