Manufacturing Process Engineer Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Process Engineer to assist in the development of manufacturing processes for new products. This role involves creating standardized work procedures, training operators on production equipment, and implementing cost reduction and efficiency improvement projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve problems and enhance production processes while ensuring compliance with ISO standards.
Responsibilities- Assist in the development of manufacturing processes for new products.
- Create standardized work procedures for various processes throughout the plant.
- Train operators on proper operation procedures for production equipment.
- Develop and implement cost reduction and efficiency improvement projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to find problem resolutions and improvement projects.
- Identify and implement improvements to production processes.
- Ensure compliance with ISO requirements as per the training provided.
- 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment working with processes and methods including workflow.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Proficiency in Solid Works and AutoCAD/Draftsight.
- Experience in assisting the development of manufacturing processes for new products.
- Experience in creating standardized work procedures.
- Experience in developing and implementing cost reduction and process improvement projects.
- Knowledge of IATF
16949 and ISO standards.
Skills & Qualifications
- IATF training.
- ISO training.
The work environment is within a high precision metal stamping manufacturing facility. It involves working with advanced manufacturing technologies and adhering to industry standards.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Nashville, TN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
