Allied Staff Augmentation Partners (ASAP) is hiring on behalf of our client, a well-established and highly respected architecture and engineering firm in the Southeast, seeking a Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer to join its Nashville, TN team.

This is a senior-level leadership opportunity where you will serve as a Project Manager and/or Technical Leader on municipal drinking water and wastewater treatment projects across Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia, and South Carolina.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead multi-disciplinary teams in study, planning, design, construction administration, and start-up services
  • Develop engineering calculations, equipment sizing and selection, technical specifications, reports, cost estimates, and schedules
  • Employ appropriate design methods to meet applicable standards
  • Manage projects to ensure high-quality, on-time, and on-budget delivery
  • Coordinate staffing and workload planning throughout project development
  • Conduct QA/QC reviews and ensure accuracy of data and documentation
  • Work directly with municipal clients
  • Support proposals, business development, and marketing efforts as needed
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related discipline
  • 15+ years of experience with municipal or industrial water/wastewater systems
  • Strong technical background in water or wastewater treatment plant design
  • PE registration in Tennessee (Alabama, Georgia, and South Carolina licensure preferred)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Working knowledge of technical specifications
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in a related discipline
  • 20+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience with alternative project delivery methods
  • Active engagement in professional and industry organizations
