This role demands an accomplished plumbing designer/engineer with 10+ years of progressive technical experience specifically in designing plumbing systems for healthcare projects. Your expertise should encompass the design and evaluation of medical gas systems typically found in hospitals, ambulatory surgical centers, freestanding emergency departments, and medical office buildings.
You will provide technical oversight of multiple projects, ensuring that all work meets contract specifications and technical standards, is delivered on time, and within budget.
- Accomplished plumbing designer/engineer with 10+ years of progressive technical experience in the design of plumbing systems for healthcare projects.
- Experience includes design and evaluation of medical gas systems found in hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, freestanding emergency departments, medical office buildings, and technical oversight of multiple projects with proven success, providing technical oversight on projects that meet contract specifications and technical standards to the client on time and within budget.
Your task will involve assisting Project and Client Managers in meeting the client’s needs and budget, as you collaborate with a diverse team of engineers to provide comprehensive services for a variety of public, private, and federal projects. - Provide technical guidance and quality oversight, including code review, of all project work involving plumbing engineering.
- Provide technical training and development of staff.
- Establish and improve standards, practices, guidelines, and specifications for plumbing discipline area.
- Provide on‑the‑spot advice and decisions—technical and cost estimates.
- Coordinate with all disciplines involved, including outside consultants.
- Maintain technical interface with code officials and contractors.
