Associate Manager– Maintenance

Responsible for reducing the downtime of equipment and increasing its availability for production, training and guiding shift technicians; optimizing power and fuel consumption, managing engineering spares inventory, controlling repair and maintenance costs, and initiating continuous improvement projects. Work environment:
Business Office & Factory Plant; shop floor. Occasionally requires travel to local governmental bodies and vendor locations.

• Effectively handle any maintenance issues in each shift and take up small Kaizen projects, guide and train the team to improve their knowledge and skills, plan and manage effective maintenance work.
• Routine calibration and maintenance requirements of a variety of electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
• Conduct in-depth electrical assessment for maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical and instrumentation, covering preventative and breakdown maintenance for utilities, process, and packaging equipment.
• Work in collaboration with production and warehouse teams to formulate the best electrical maintenance practices.
• Perform energy audits and recommend alternative sources of energy to reduce energy costs.
• Develop a Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedule, ensure full preventive maintenance is carried out, and lead the team to deliver effectively.
• Provide a safe working environment for all employees, ensuring electricity‑induced accidents and mishaps are prevented.
• Provide training to the team members on safe handling of calibrated equipment.
• Motivate engineering technicians for implementing 5S activities.
• Conduct risk assessment for all electrical critical equipment.
• Ensure all machinery is erected, commissioned, and validated as per the procedure.

• Bachelor of Engineering or Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, 7-10 years of experience in the maintenance field.
• Must hold an electrical “C” License.
