Location: Nashville, TN
Description: We are Verdantas, a national consulting group seeking a talented Civil Engineer III to join our Nashville office. This full-time role offers an opportunity to contribute to impactful civil infrastructure and environmental projects. The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of experience in civil engineering, with a background in land development and water resources design, including stormwater management, site grading, and erosion control.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Project Managers with technical and civil engineering design or project management
- Perform technical engineering work related to land development and water resources, including stormwater management design, site grading, erosion and sediment control, preparing plans for agency review, and environmental permitting
- Attend meetings with municipal officials, engineers, developers, and contractors
- Be a critical thinker, self-motivated, willing to learn through trial and error, and committed to growth
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or associate degree in civil engineering from an ABET-accredited institution
- 6+ years of experience in land development civil-site engineering
- Familiarity with Hydro
CAD or other stormwater modeling software - Knowledge of green infrastructure practices
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and Civil 3D preferred
- EIT or PE certification preferred
- Strong communication skills
