Réalis is seeking a Civil/Airport Engineer to join our East Aviation/Civil Engineering Team. This is an entry-level position and is based out of Nashville, Tennessee, Atlanta, Georgia, or Philadelphia, Pennsylvania locations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop grading, drainage, utility, pavement, geometry, and detail design plans and specifications, using computer modeling software, such as Civil 3D, Microstation, & Microsoft Office.
• Collect and analyze data from multiple job sites to incorporate into the design and layout of the project.
• Work with the project manager to develop project cost estimates and schedules, and validate design plans with regulatory agencies.
• Communicate with the project manager, regulatory agencies, and the client to develop scope of work and update project progress.

QUALIFICATIONS

• EXPERIENCE:
  
  0-2 Years of professional experience in a civil engineering technical field.
• EDUCATION:
  
  Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited college/university.
• SPECIAL
  
  SKILLS:
  • Basic computer skills required to enter data into spreadsheets or databases.
  • Math skills to perform simple calculations; willingness to learn.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with AutoCAD or Micro Station (preferred).
  • Proficient interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Capability to develop technical writings and reports.
• PROFESSIONAL REGISTRATIONS: E.I. or E.I.T. preferred, or the ability to obtain.
