Base pay range: $160,000 – $210,000 per year
This role supports our expanding industrial water practice, leading planning, design, and construction projects for local and national private/industrial water clients. You will have opportunities to work on both municipal and industrial water projects, building a career that evolves with you. Responsibilities:
- Lead technical engineering teams and staff on industrial water and wastewater projects.
- Shape organizational strategy and serve as a key client representative.
- Deliver innovative solutions that meet project scope, schedule, and budget.
- Mentor and coach junior engineers.
- Maintain client relationships and support project delivery from planning through construction.
- Utilize Jacobs’ proprietary tools and methodologies.
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards, regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in civil, chemical, environmental, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
- Professional Engineer license.
- At least 8 years of consulting experience with industrial water and wastewater clients.
- Proven experience delivering industrial and municipal planning and design projects.
- Deep understanding of process mechanical designs, water and wastewater unit processes, technologies, master planning, and condition assessments.
- Experience managing deliverables to scope, schedule, and budget.
- Willingness to learn Jacobs’ proprietary tools.
- Leadership experience mentoring and coaching other engineers.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering or equivalent.
- Project delivery experience with Micro Station, AutoCAD, and Revit.
- Experience providing services during construction.
- Active involvement in professional societies or community organizations.
- Adept at interpersonal relationship building and conflict resolution.
