Barge Design Solutions is currently seeking a Bridge Engineer to join our growing team. This role supports the planning, design, and execution of bridge engineering projects across a variety of transportation infrastructure initiatives. The ideal candidate will contribute to engineering documentation, design development, and technical problem‑solving while working on multiple projects ranging from small assignments to more complex portions of larger, multidisciplinary efforts.

This position offers the opportunity to serve as a technical lead on select projects and collaborate closely with project managers, senior engineers, and clients to deliver high‑quality engineering solutions.

• Assist in project scope and budget development, as well as, assisting in project design.
• Supports PM providing technical leadership on conventional projects.
• Designs experiments, interprets, and develops conclusions on complex data.
• Writes and reviews engineer specifications, documents, drawings, etc. to produce various deliverables.
• Designs a component, or process on a complex projects or designs complete a project, systems, or components on conventional projects.
• Responsibility for completing a subset of project documents.
• Participate in client meetings, as appropriate.
• Conducts on‑site visits to monitor progress of project.
• Performs other duties as requested.

• Bachelor’s degree from accredited program.
• Minimum of 6 or more years of engineering experience and Registered PE.
• Applies practical knowledge acquired through progressive experience to resolve issues.
• Strong working knowledge of Auto Cad, Micro station, and other essential equipment for field and office work.
• Keeps informed of new methods and developments affecting the organization.
