Electrical Project Engineer EIT/PE – (Hybrid).
Salary: $90,000 - $125,000 (Total Compensation $100,000 - $135,000).
We are looking for an Electrical Project Engineer to join our team. Successful candidates have experience delivering Design/Build and Renovation projects in Healthcare, Commercial, Education, Government, Transportation, and similar sectors. They handle all phases of engineering consulting, managing multiple projects at various stages, including planning, design, production, quality control, and financial responsibilities. The role provides technical leadership, mentors team members, coordinates team activities, ensures production meets schedules, and produces reasonable profit.
Qualifications- 6-10 years of experience designing and managing Electrical/MEP projects in an Engineering Consulting or Design/Build environment
- Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer designing power and lighting building systems on complex projects
- Project experience delivering new construction and/or renovation projects for Healthcare, Commercial, Education, Government, Transportation, etc.
- EIT or PE licensed preferred
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit
- Experience with construction costs and life-cycle analysis; managing moderate to complex projects
- Ability to schedule and manage tasks for the electrical discipline
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated technical and formal communication with clients and staff
- Ability to represent the electrical discipline at meetings
- Mentoring capability for junior staff
- Familiarity with local building codes & standards
- Strong technical leadership and management skills
