Role Description

This is a full‑time on‑site role for a Senior Packaging Engineer located in Nashville, TN. The Senior Packaging Engineer will be responsible for designing and optimizing packaging systems, conducting research and development, and implementing innovative packaging solutions. Day‑to‑day responsibilities also include managing projects related to packaging initiatives, collaborating with cross‑functional teams, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and company goals.

Qualifications
  • Expertise in Packaging Engineering and Packaging Design to create innovative and functional packaging solutions
  • Experience in Research and Development (R&D) to conceptualize, test, and improve packaging systems
  • Strong Project Management skills to oversee multiple packaging initiatives effectively
  • Proficiency in Mechanical Engineering principles and their application to packaging processes
  • Attention to detail with knowledge of industry standards and regulatory compliance requirements
  • Exceptional communication and problem‑solving skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is required; a Master's degree is a plus
  • Experience in a manufacturing or consumer goods environment is highly desirable
