Lead our structural design and engineering group throughout Tennessee with development and delivery of structural assignments Participate in Business Development and Marketing to secure future clients and workload Provide Senior level structural expertise on all project aspects associated with conceptual engineering, detailed engineering designs, and preparation of contract documents for construction followed by construction administration with respect to the structural aspects of the project Serve as Project/Program and Contractual Manager on a variety of structure related projects Produce construction documents, specifications, and construction cost estimates Facilitate internal and client meetings, presentations and approval of plans Direct project staff and sub-consultants Serve as liaison between client and firm Execute QA/QC for completeness and accuracy of design work Provide engineering judgment and initiative within the Structural Engineering field Hire, train, and mentor entry level and junior level structural engineers

Required Skills and Experience

Bachelor’s in Civil or Structural Engineering Twelve (12) or more years of bridge design experience Excellent communication skills including proposal development Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Tennessee or ability to obtain within 6 months

Preferred Skills and Experience

Masters degree in Structural Engineering Experience with Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) and local municipalities
