• We are looking for a camp coach with an athletic or coaching background who ideally has experience in summer camps or coaching kids ages 4 - 11
• Kid Strong Camp Coach would focus on coaching children on brain, physical, and character development that stems from a designed camp curriculum
• Ideal candidate must also be comfortable speaking to parents/guardians regarding any incidents that take place during camp
• Camps typically run when school is out, from 9 am - 2:30 pm; may vary depending on locations – the ideal candidate will be available during those hours
• Additional opportunity to increase scheduled hours through private party coaching hours & Kid Strong Class coaching – may require additional training

• Camp sizes of up to 20 children, ages 4 - 11
• Teach the Kid Strong curriculum as provided by the HQ programming team
• Ensure camp starts and ends on schedule and follow the appropriate pace of curriculum
• Greet students and their parent(s)/guardian(s) as they arrive to camp
• Maintain a dynamic, fun, motivational, and professional demeanor when leading camp
• Demonstrate and manage the implementation of various exercises
• Keep an accurate record of attendance at all times
• Ensure cleanliness of the center including lobby, bathrooms, and floors; take out the trash, sweep and mop, wipe down equipment, and sanitize the mat at the end of a shift
• Effectively use the KS Coach’s App to record class data and provide records of data for parents (attendance, awards, etc.)
• Communicate professionally with co-workers in Slack, our company messaging system
• Complete training through Learn Upon as required by the HQ Training and Certification team
• Work in a physically intensive environment; may cover multiple miles in a shift and move equipment up to 25 pounds
• Work hands-on with kids to ensure proper technique and student safety
• Attend additional mandatory staff meetings as required by Kid Strong Director
• Obtain camp-certified status from the HQ Training and Certification team
• Supervision, safety, and program implementation for campers while ensuring the well-being of all children

• Passion for working with children is non-negotiable
• Prior experience coaching students within the appropriate Kid Strong age is preferred
• Intermediate knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics is preferred
• CPR certified
• Positive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skills
• Self-starter who just gets the job done

Compensation: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
