Mandatory qualification:
Master's degree in reading instruction OR advanced certification (Orton‑Gillingham, Wilson, LETRS, or equivalent).

At Alpha School, you will execute an AI‑powered reading program designed to redefine early literacy instruction. You will facilitate brief, high‑impact workshops rather than conventional hour‑long sessions. You will assess learner needs, develop original evidence‑based lessons independently, and contribute to building adaptive tools that extend your impact to hundreds of students. This position requires reading specialists who excel without prescriptive curricula and are eager to advance scalable literacy solutions.
WhatYou Will Be Doing
- Facilitating adaptive reading workshops focused on building core competencies in phonics, fluency, and comprehension
- Creating personalized motivational experiences that engage children and foster a lasting passion for reading
- Reviewing student performance data to systematically improve your methods and generate actionable insights
- Partnering with the technology team to assess and improve AI‑powered literacy tools
- Following pre‑scripted curricula or published scope‑and‑sequence frameworks
Cultivate a passion for reading in young learners
Basic Requirements- Bachelor's degree
- Master's degree or advanced certification in reading instruction (e.g., Orton‑Gillingham, Wilson, or equivalent)
- Minimum of 2 years delivering small‑group reading interventions to early elementary students
- Competent in assessing reading levels, forming student groups, and creating differentiated instruction independently of pre‑written curricula
- Experienced with AI/adaptive learning tools and able to adjust instruction based on student interaction patterns
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
- Prepared to work on‑site at one of our locations:

This is a full‑time (40 hours per week), long‑term position.
