Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Create syllabus and timeline of classes for each semester.
• Provide meeting times for students.
• Manage online grading system and submit grades timely.
• Follow all relevant university and department policies.

Required Qualifications:

• Knowledge of principles, methods, and current developments in the field.
• Knowledge of course content and instructional strategies.
• Ability to support, instruct, motivate, and evaluate students.
• Proficiency in computers, Internet resources, and MS Office.
• Ability to learn Banner Web for student grading.
• Ability to integrate technology into teaching.
• Effective communication skills verbally and in writing.
• Ability to interact professionally with students, staff, and the public.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in the discipline;
  PhD preferred.
• Higher education teaching experience preferred.
