Hours: Up to nine workload hours per semester.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Create syllabus and timeline of classes each semester.
• Provide meeting times for students.
• Manage online grading system and submit grades timely.
• Follow all relevant university and department policies.

Required Qualifications:

• Knowledge of principles, methods, and current developments in the field.
• Knowledge of subject matter and course content.
• Instructional strategies and techniques.
• Ability to support, instruct, manage, motivate, and evaluate students.
• Proficient in computers, Internet resources, and MS Office.
• Ability to learn Banner Web for student grading.
• Ability to integrate technology into teaching.
• Effective communication skills, verbally and in writing.
• Knowledge of Belmont University's programs and services.
• Ability to work with diverse constituencies.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in the specific discipline;
  PhD preferred.
• Higher education teaching experience preferred.
