Alpha understands that five-year-olds can learn more effectively when guided by adaptive technology and a coaching approach. Our students in grades K-2 complete core academic work in approximately 2 hours per day through AI-driven adaptive learning technology. Your role is to coach, facilitate meaningful life skills sessions, inspire students to reach learning milestones, and cultivate the mindset and behaviors essential for long-term success.

What You Will Be Doing- Facilitating one-hour life skills sessions with K-2 students, coaching them and reinforcing reading instruction delivered by Reading Specialists
- Inspiring students to progress through adaptive learning applications and meet weekly academic targets
- Guiding emotional regulation, resilience, and problem-solving through consistent routines and supportive engagement
- Monitoring student development and emerging needs, identifying concerns proactively, and modifying approaches in partnership with your team
- Building a classroom environment that balances structure, playfulness, and individualized attention
- Availability to work full-time and on-site at our campus in Chicago, IL;
Miami, FL;
Palo Alto, CA;
San Francisco, CA; or Santa Monica, CA - Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in any discipline
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with children ages 4–8 in educational settings, after school programs, coaching roles, or comparable contexts
- Strong storytelling ability and dynamic presentation skills: capable of capturing and sustaining the focus of young children in group settings
- Capacity to maintain high expectations for both yourself and your students, and to motivate children toward goal achievement
- Growth mindset and receptiveness to coaching
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $60 USD/hour, which equates to $120,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly. For more details, consult
