Role DescriptionAssociate Channel Strategist will develop and manage traditional and non‑traditional OOH media planning at both national and hyper‑local levels. The role reports to the SVP, Channel Management, and requires deep expertise in media habits, consumer behavior, trends, and marketplace nuances.

A Day in the Life- Work closely with direct line manager, clients and internal teams to develop OOH plans, evaluating, analyzing and aligning client goals.
- Analyze demographic data and consumer profiles to identify OOH channel usage and psychographic habits of target audiences.
- Communicate with vendor partners to assess and plan the most effective, efficient use of client budgets, evaluating formats, placement, audience delivery, scale, and efficiency.
- Prepare proposals and clearly communicate OOH plan recommendations.
- Send OOH RFPs in alignment with engagement strategies and client goals.
- Negotiate OOH formats according to plan, seeking added value, upgrades and bonus opportunities.
- Learn and become fluent with the proprietary buying/planning platform, Plato.
- Manage and organize daily tasks.
- Set up and execute approved plans accurately.
- Remain up to date on industry trends and performance across all OOH channels.
- Develop POVs against client objectives and strategies for any new OOH opportunities or formats.
- Demonstrate a clear understanding of the client’s business by becoming a “student” of the brand and competition.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendor partners and internal teams.
- Fearless negotiator – strong negotiation skills are a plus, though training will be provided.
- Confidence to speak up and share ideas, whether it’s pointing out issues or spotting improvement opportunities.
- Intuitive interaction with multiple stakeholders, from clients and media owners to internal team members.
- Balance empathy and assertiveness, comfortable with human connection in a digital world.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Teachable with a strong work ethic.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to mult‑task.
- Adaptability to a changing daily/hourly schedule.
