Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking Emergency Medicine Physicians for a locum tenens opportunity in Newport, TN . This position offers short-term coverage, a flexible schedule, and competitive compensation in a Level 3 Trauma Center with a manageable patient flow .

Shift: 7 AM – 7 PM
Night
Shift: 7 PM – 7 AM
APC Coverage:
Sunday – Tuesday: 10 AM – 6 PM & 3 PM – 11 PM
Wednesday – Saturday: 11 AM – 11 PM
Minimum Commitment:
18 shifts per month
Practice Setting: Physician-led Emergency Department
Facility Details:
Annual Volume: 23,000 – 24,000 patient visits
16 ED Beds + Hall Beds as Needed
Level 3 Trauma Center
No Admitting Orders Required (Handled by hospitalists)
EMR System: Cerner
Temp Privileges: Available for clean files
Provider Requirements:
Certification: Board Certification Not Required
Licensure: Active & Unrestricted TN State License & DEA
