Do you enjoy educating patients on exceptional oral health habits? Do you want an opportunity to help those who need the most help? The MPHD Lentz Dental Clinic is currently looking for a bright, motivated Dental Hygienist to provide comprehensive dental care for children up to age 21. We also provide limited adult emergency care. Tenn Care is accepted, and for patients without Tenn Care, a sliding fee schedule is used.
We also offer preventive dental services to children in selected schools in Davidson County through our Dental Sealant Program. These services include dental screenings, examinations, oral health education, and the placement of dental sealants.
This position will work in the Metro Nashville/Davidson County Schools.
This position will start July 29, 2025, for the 2025 - 2026 school year.

Responsibilities include:Qualifications include graduation from an accredited school of dental hygiene, at least three years of experience as a dental hygienist, and licensure to practice dental hygiene in Tennessee.
Candidates with foreign accreditations are encouraged to apply; however, MPHD is not sponsoring individuals through US government employment-based immigration programs at this time.
MPHD values social and cultural responsiveness and seeks candidates who can work effectively with multicultural communities.
Required include a valid class “D” driver’s license, use of a personal vehicle, and maintenance of valid personal vehicle insurance as per Tennessee law.
Knowledge required:- Principles and consultative techniques of dental hygiene.
- Methods and techniques involved in dental prophylaxis and fluoridation.
- Tennessee dental laws and regulations.
- Aims and services of a dental health program.
