Nashville General Hospital is hiring for an Information Desk Operator for Telecommunications as a full time job in Nashville, Tennessee.

This position is responsible for answering calls, inquiries, and maintaining records.

• Answering incoming calls and directing calls to the proper department; transferring calls; routing emergency calls.
• Placing long distance and local calls as required.
• Paging appropriate personnel.
• Answering inquiries when possible.
• Assisting in maintaining up-to-date listings and files.
• Maintaining records of station calls.

• High School Diploma (Equivalent)
• One year switchboard operator experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
