Nashville General Hospital is hiring an Information Desk Operator for Telecommunications as a full time position in Nashville, Tennessee. This position is responsible for answering calls, inquires, and maintaining records.

• Answer incoming calls and direct calls to the proper department; transfer calls; route emergency calls.
• Place long distance and local calls as required.
• Page appropriate personnel.
• Answer inquiries when possible.
• Assist in maintaining up-to-date listings and files.
• Maintain records of station calls.

• High School Diploma (Equivalent)
• One year switchboard operator experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
