Crowd Surf is a digital marketing agency that was founded in 2007. (Yes, you read that correctly, 2007.) That’s 3 years before Instagram and nearly a decade before Tik Tok. Since the dawn of social media, we’ve helped artists at all stages of their careers reach new heights, taking newcomers from a few followers to the world’s stage and representing some of the biggest names and legacies in music and comedy.

We are a collective team of music lovers and social media innovators crafting game-changing creatives with passionate team members. Our goal is to help artists share their gifts with the world.

This would be a hybrid position in the Nashville area.

Must have the ability to work and communicate efficiently in a remote environment with a reliable internet connection and other tools for video meetings, calls, etc. on a daily basis.

There will be some on-site responsibilities with clients including but not limited to content capture, content creation, and artist support in various locations. There will also be some in-person team meetings at various work locations.

About the Role

We’re searching for a Digital Marketing Manager who is passionate, efficient, and ready to succeed across various genres in the entertainment industry.

The Digital Marketing Manager will drive digital strategies, guide team members, and build client relationships, ensuring that our clients’ goals are met through innovative, on-brand content and comprehensive digital marketing approaches.

You’ll be responsible for leading client meetings, overseeing marketing initiatives, and managing a portfolio of clients with a focus on delivering exceptional results.

In addition, you’ll support the growth and development of team members by providing direction, consistent feedback, and mentorship.

This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient execution of high-level strategy, leading day-to-day operations, and increasing revenue for our clients and Crowd Surf.

  • Passionate about the music and entertainment industry, with a deep understanding of pop culture and digital trends across various genres, including hip-hop, rock, alternative, country, dance, and more. You recognize emerging trends early and leverage them for strategic advantage.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of professional experience in digital marketing, social media, or content creation, preferably in the music or entertainment industry.
  • Proven experience overseeing a team and managing multiple client relationships simultaneously.
  • Expert-level understanding of social media management, online trends, and digital music service providers.
