Overview

Construction Safety Coordinator

Location: Nashville, TN

Duration: 12+ Months (Immediate Start)

Type: 1099 contractor with opportunity for a full-time role with benefits.

Compensation & Schedule

  • Hourly Rate: $65/HR
  • Per Diem:
    No perdiem
  • Completion Bonus: $150/month
  • Pay Frequency:
    Weekly
  • Schedule:

    Monday-Friday, 10-hour days. Weekends as needed
  • Gas reimbursement is provided when visiting multiple projects
Project Scope

The Safety Coordinator will support safety efforts for our clients  various projects in the Nashville area. Gas reimbursement is available for visits to multiple job sites. The ideal candidate must possess strong communication and coaching skills. This position will be a hybrid role, with work from the office and visits to job sites.

Qualifications
  • BCSP: CHST, STSC, CSP, etc
  • 5+ years of Experience in Commercial Construction
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments
  • Support incident investigations, report findings, and implement corrective actions
  • Deliver safety training and orientation for employees, subcontractors, and new hires
  • Collaborate with project teams to proactively identify safety risks and mitigate hazards
  • Maintain safety performance, incident, and compliance documentation and reports
  • Promote a safety-first culture across all levels of the organization
Skills & Knowledge
  • Excellent public speaking and communication abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Professionalism and confidentiality with sensitive information
Knowledge
  • Strong understanding of EHS and industry regulatory standards in construction
  • Ability to effectively communicate safety principles and regulations
