This position is with our National Healthcare Division, and candidates must be open to 100% travel. Project assignment/location may not be reflected in this posting. Candidates will be eligible for travel incentives.
The Superintendent 3 will plan, manage, and execute all aspects of assigned projects with moderate complexity. This role is responsible for managing the team, planning construction sequencing, and meeting project goals for timely and profitable completion, supporting JE Dunn's strategy, vision, and values.
Key Role Responsibilities - Core- Lead safety culture and demonstrate commitment to an injury-free environment.
- Manage subcontractors and organize overall job workflow.
- Oversee company staff, subcontractors, suppliers, and programs such as Safety, Quality, and EEOC.
- Develop work plans and coordinate project site activities.
- Lead meetings, manage project schedule and budget, and communicate key information.
- Ensure quality compliance and support project closeouts.
- Participate in project pursuit and negotiation processes.
- Recruit top talent and promote diversity and inclusion.
- Manage moderately complex projects from start to finish, possibly with multiple field supervisors.
- Develop new business opportunities and maintain client relationships.
- Identify and manage project risks, and manage project deliverables.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and construction management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, project management software, and construction technology.
- Knowledge of trades, self-perform work, budgeting, and Lean principles.
- High School Diploma or GED;
Bachelor's preferred. - 8+ years construction experience; 5+ years supervision.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds, travel, and work in various conditions.
