Client: Our client is a growing concrete contractor specializing in commercial new construction projects.
Company OverviewOur client is an established and fast-growing concrete contractor with over $10M in annual revenue, based in Middle Tennessee. They specialize in new construction projects for retail, banking, hospitality, industrial, and big box store clients. Project scopes include concrete foundations, flatwork, and site work on commercial projects ranging from approximately $100K to $2M.
They are seeking experienced, motivated, and dependable professionals who take pride in managing concrete construction projects and thrive in a fast-paced, professional environment.
Key Responsibilities- Manage concrete construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Review RFIs, ASIs, and project scope changes and price accordingly
- Prepare and submit monthly billing and maintain Schedule of Values
- Develop and manage project budgets and cost tracking
- Coordinate project scheduling in collaboration with the Field Director
- Prepare, review, and negotiate change orders
- Lead weekly subcontractor meetings
- Work directly with superintendents and general contractor project managers
- Review and approve invoices
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on concrete construction experience
- Minimum 5+ years of construction project management experience
- Strong understanding of commercial concrete foundations, flatwork, and site work
- Experience managing multiple commercial projects simultaneously
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- Ability to work effectively with field teams, subcontractors, and clients
