Estimator, Construction, Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

One of the top ten mechanical contractors in the US is hiring an experienced Estimator for their Special Projects Division. This role supports HVAC, piping, sheet metal, and plumbing projects with values up to $6M.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings, specs, and contracts
• Perform material and labor take-offs
• Prepare accurate bid proposals
• Coordinate vendor and subcontractor pricing
• Identify risks and cost-saving opportunities

Qualifications

• 3+ years mechanical estimating experience
• Strong HVAC, piping, sheet metal, and plumbing knowledge
• Ability to read construction drawings
• Experience with retrofit/remodel estimating
• Quote Soft experience a plus
