Traveling Superintendent - Insulated Metal Panels

Overview

Trillium Construction is hiring for a Traveling Superintendent to help oversee the installation of insulated metal panels (IMP) on a large-scale commercial project in Nashville, TN.

• Lead and supervise all on-site IMP installation activities from layout to finish.
• Coordinate labor, materials, and equipment to meet project schedules and budgets.
• Work closely with the Project Manager, General Contractor, and other trades to ensure seamless workflow and communication.
• Monitor field productivity and implement best practices to optimize efficiency and quality.
• Conduct daily safety meetings and ensure full compliance with OSHA and company safety policies.
• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications to direct installation crews accurately.
• Manage site logistics, deliveries, and inventory of materials.
• Inspect and verify that all IMP work meets project plans, codes, and quality standards.
• Resolve field issues and conflicts proactively to avoid delays or rework.
• Maintain daily logs, time sheets, and progress reports.

• $40.00/hr - $50.00/hr

• Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in commercial insulated metal panel installation, including 3+ years as a superintendent.
• Demonstrated success managing large-scale IMP projects in commercial construction (e.g., hospitals, hotels, corporate campuses).
• Strong leadership and communication skills; able to manage large crews and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and construction documents.
• Proficient with construction technology tools such as Procore, Bluebeam, or Plan Grid preferred.
• OSHA 30 certification required.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
