Construction Manager (EPC Construction and MV/LV Electrical)

Primary duties are to ensure the installation of DI equipment is completed safely, on time, on budget, and within the specifications of the project. The Construction Manager represents Power Secure at the project site, oversees all construction activities, is present for all equipment deliveries, manages subcontractors and internal resources, and interfaces with the customer, utility, and local AHJs.

• High School Diploma with 2+ years of experience in construction; experience in energy industries preferred.
• Knowledge of construction management, financials, and construction process.
• Experience working with General Contractors, subcontractors, customers, engineers, utilities, and AHJs.
• Ability to identify and manage priorities with urgency, while maintaining high quality and customer service.
• Proficiency with computer and standard office software and construction management software.
• Proficiency with the ability to read and interpret construction documents, product data submittals, and site specifications.
• Must be punctual, organized, and professional.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to lead and conduct meetings in various formats.

• Maintain safe and healthy work sites by following company standards, procedures, and legal requirements.
• Coordinate and administer daily safety briefs with contractors and employees.
• Coordinate and lead project meetings with customers, utilities, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
• Understand the financials of a project and create and issue Purchase Orders.
• Ensure project sites are tidily left and housekeeping standards are followed.
• Coordinate with parties for timely execution of the project schedule.
• Communicate with Senior Staff to ensure each project is installed safely, timely, and on budget.

• Lift up to 50 pounds.
• Work in various positions, including low to the ground or on a ladder.
• Stand or walk for 3‑4 hours at a time.
• Travel required (70%+); willingness to drive company vehicle or fly commercially.
• Exposure to weather, noise, energized electrical equipment, overhead hazards, and heavy machinery.
